08/31/2010Very average! Fairly tasty curry that considering the portion sizes is definitely not worth the high price! There is far better Indian food to be had in the Sunset area and for a lot cheaper! Ben, ordered 7 times
08/21/2010Chicken Tikka Masala was pretty good, but the Mushroom Masala was soooo greasy. The flavor was good, but it was drenched in oil and I ended up throwing it out. A little pricey for rice. There are better Indian places. Jenny, ordered 3 times

10/05/2009I tried the chili naan and mushroom masala. I was in the mood for greasy food made with cheap oil and bright (and blatantly artificial) food colors. Didn't get that from this place. The mushroom masala was almost gourmet, they didn't use button mushrooms like every other Indian rest. in the city. Nor did the chili naan overwhelm my tastebuds. If I complain at all, it would be that the gulab jamun could have been more generously coated with the yummy, yummy sugar syrup that goes STRAIGHT to my thighs. Meghna, ordered 13 times

12/21/2008My husband and I were watching "Outsourced" and got the biggest craving for Indian food. this place completely hit the spot-- the best Indian delivery we've had (and we've had quite a few). The chiken tiki masla had a ton of chicken and the spinach aloo was quite tasty too. ellen, ordered 19 times

06/21/2008I was disappointed with the quality of food at India Clay Oven. I ordered cheese nan - was tough and dry, with hardly any cheese flavor kashmiri nan - flavorful, but also tough and dry vegetable somosa - good, right amount of spice chicken biryani - dry It'll be a long time before I order from India Clay Oven again. (There's always hope that the chef will change.) Rick, ordered 32 times
12/09/2007Very quick - delicious flavors and their nan is the best i've had - only complaint was the chicken didn't taste as if it were baked in a clay oven, but boiled and wasn't as spicy as I had hoped, but otherwise, they are great :) Denisse, ordered 2 times
