08/17/2010Let me correct myself. The Ha gow is the shrimp dumpling that I ordered, but instead I got the shrimp with something green in it. My point is, I didn't get what I payed for. Apinya, ordered 6 times
08/17/2010I have only had food delivered from Dim Sum Bar, and all the times the food is good. Some of the dishes are pretty good. My concern is with their delivery service. On multiple and consecutive ocassions, I have ordered food from eat24hours.com, and have had received incorrect food items. Instead of Shrimp dumplings we got Ha gow, and sesame buns instead of the custard ones. I called and asked what happened with the order and they said that sometimes the computer screws up and displays the wrong item on the order. ??? No one even said we're sorry for the inconvenience. Maybe I'm making a small matter more than it is. I just expect to get what I payed for...that's what part of running a business is about. Apinya, ordered 6 times
03/05/2010It took about 40 minutes or so for the food to arrive. House Special Chow Mein: Great flavor, yummy noodles, tasty well cooked shrimp, great hot or cold. 4/5 Cashew Chicken: White meat chicken, decent flavor, not a ton of chicken. 3/5 Crab Meat Cheese Puffs: Delicious! My favorite yet. Tons of filling, good wonton wrapping. 5/5 Wor Won Ton Soup: I didn't like the broth much and the wontons were not that great. 2/5 Pros: decent delivery time, great prices, large portions, dim sum options for small size orders, great prices. Cons: Poor won ton soup broth, not as much chicken in the cashew chicken as I would have liked. Michelle, ordered 13 times

04/21/2008I ordered har gow steamed pork dumplings and they were so-so. They were larger than I expected, and while that was a bonus, the flavor was really lacking. The sesame balls on the other hand were really good. Each of these appetizers were around $2 for three pieces -- a real bargain. I ordered orange chicken as the entre and did ask that they use all white meat chicken, but they did not. Most restaurants will charge a little more for this, but this restaurant didn't bother. Overall, it was a good meal and I will eat there again. Matthew, ordered 2 times
09/27/2007Dim Sum Bar's food is good, however we've had problems with their delivery service on several occassions now. Today, they canceled our order because they had no available drivers. Also on previous orders, they did not have items advertised on their menu. We think it's very unprofessional and poor business practice for a restaurant to advertise that it is available to deliver when it is in fact not. We also think that items that are not available should be taken off the menu. 4 out of 5 times that we ordered sesame balls, they were not in fact available. Reginald, ordered 11 times
