broken oily samosas - unethientic and over salted seek kebabs - and biryani that has sweetcorn - owasnt sure why there were so much veg in a meat dish... would not recommend or buy again, you will have to pay me to eat from there!

Ordered Lamb Vindaloo (extra spciy)and Kebab wrap. Food arrived piping hot and Vindaloo was very SPICY!!! Loved it and the Kebab Wrap one of the tastiest I've ever had. Only minor negative remark was that the food arrived 65 minutes so no suprise there when quoted 45-60 minutes. But definitely worth the wait. My new go to Indian delivery.

Excellent food! I especially love the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Chicken Wrap. Yummmmm! Food arrived within delivery window, and it was nice and hot.

The good:
- The prawn korma was alright. Nothing special, but ok.
The bad:
- The naan bread was soggy. That's common for delivery though so not surprising.
- The delivery guy gave me a bag that was soaked in oil. One of the curries had spilled and carpeted everything in the bag with a nice layer of oil. At least, I thought, if it's oily it will have a lot of flavor...
The really bad:
- The shrimp masala was completely tasteless. No flavor at all apart from a few large pieces of tomato and the shrimp. It wasn't spicy (I like my curries a little spicy) it was as mild as the rice. Worse though is tasted as though all the spices were missing, even mild ones.

Consistently good food, with good quantities. Will continue to order with them, especially compared to the other options in the area which all have good reviews but have not lived up their hype at all. This place is the best for good, cheap (enough) Indian delivery.

They delivered really quick since i live in the same neighborhood (driver said it takes only about 20 mins) so i was able to get my food hot and on time. Problem was..i had really, REALLY spicy Binrati and Pakora that took away the essence of having good food. I think during holidays or special events orders would take longer than 2hrs based on the other reviews i have read. I MAY order here again, but would have to make a special request of mild.

I have what you might call a curry addiction. If I could, I would have a curry IV, just pump it in my VEINS! Sorry, I get excited. Anyway, India Curry House has become my favorite for Indian delivery. The food and service is consistently excellent. I recommend them to absolutely everyone!

Called two hours after I placed the order to cancel it. I am really upset. I better not get charged for this or I am going to raise a stink. Would have been better if they had said they couldn't deliver the food when I called 1hr20min after I placed the order. They HUNG UP ON ME THREE TIMES before I could get an answer. The man who helped me said they would try to redeliver. Should have just said they couldn't; I'm not unreasonable, I understand it's the 4th, and it wouldn't have been a big deal. FORTY MINUTES after I spoke to someone, they said they couldn't deliver.

Delicious curry, but naan, pakoras and bhajis were just wrapped in Aluminum foil. They said 45 minutes but took 75. Food in foil was cold and soggy, not hot and crisp. Huge portions. Will not order takeout from them again, but might eat at their restaurant to get the food hot and crisp. The management should learn more about food packaging!

I have ordered here twice now, the food is very good, but I think it could be a little more spicy. The delivery time is good. I will most likely order here again.

The tandoori chicken was very dry, but overall the food was tasty. Also some of the dishes are just too spicy and should be a little more on the milder side.

really good indian food. the prices are very very reasonable and delivery time was only 30 minutes. even took my roommates here just to see how the place is and we really enjoyed the food and i the atmosphere (nothing really beats an indian restaurant/irish pub). i will definitely order from here again!!!

Great food!!!, Instant recommendation, I've worked in fine dinning almost my entire career and this place has great spice and wonderful sauces, I ordered delivery and it was there in about 45min, so if you have the time its worth it.

A+++ :-D the takeout we got delivered was absolutely delicious! The veggie samosas where HUGE and crunchy w/lovely dippings, chicken tikka was tender and perfect blend of spices & the shrimp dish was great too! Not only was the food wonderful...but it seemed like as soon as we ordered it arrived pipping hot! We just moved to SF and are very happy to have a great local Indian that is priced reasonable & well worth every penny! Thank You!

The delivery was 2 hours late, which resulted in cold food. Management/staff didn't even bother to call and tell me the order would be late - I had to call (3 times). Actually, they didn't even bother answering the third time I called to check on my order. They didn't even apologize for being late. The cable car chicken was dry and crumbly. The tikka masala was salty. Will not be ordering from here ever again.

HORRIFIC SERVICE. I ordered, was quoted 45 - 60 minutes. At 60 minutes I called and was told it would be delivered any minute. At 75 minutes I called again and was told by the same individual that the delivery woman would be there any minute, and that she was Chinese and couldn't read the signs in English, so thats why it was late, but he'd told her to deliver to us first. At 90 minutes I called back again and a woman answered. She told me that it would be another 15-20 minutes, the delivery MAN had a lot of deliveries to make, they were busy, and that even though my card had already been run, they would give me a 15% disount. I told her that the other individual had told me that the delivery person was a woman, and she said that was not true. I then asked to speak with a manager and she hung up on me. I called back and she answered again and hung up on me again. I called again and the first individual answered and told us that when the delivery person came, to send him away.
Have ordered before once from here and the food was good, but they screwed up the order that time too. These people don't know what they are doing, are unbelievably rude, and are not worth the effort. Call Mehfil on 2nd and Folsom - better food and nicer people.

This restaurant is simply great. I order it and they deliver excellent food . very tasty . very fresh and for a late night good meal this is the perfect choice. I like the food here very much.

India Curry House is definitely good, but I can't quite figure out why I don't think it's fantastic. I am still rating it as "great" because of the limited rating system. It could possibly be that I was not as hungry when my food arrived because I snacked a little too much beforehand. This is in no part due to the speed of delivery, which by the way was excellent. The curteous delivery person arrived in under 30 minutes with the food piping hot. I really like the naan but the rice was blah. The chicken tikka masala has nice big, choice chunks of chicken with a creamy zesty sauce. They do not give a choice of how hot you want it so the default is just barely a hint of hotness. The palak paneer was good.

Good food, delivered on time, and they go the extra mile. They're not cheap, but their portions are hefty and the food always arrives hot.
